Terms of Service

Mellaafrica is a curated marketplace connecting verified African designers (“designers”) with buyers. Designers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for making and shipping their pieces; Mellaafrica provides the platform, payments, and support.

Prices are shown in the listed currency and are payable at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Paystack); we don’t store your full card details. An order is confirmed once payment is verified.

Made-to-measure pieces are produced from the measurements you submit and confirm. Because they are made for you, they are non-returnable except for faults or our error. Ensure your measurements are accurate before ordering.

Designers accept a fixed commission on the goods value of each sale, disclosed in the studio. Net proceeds are paid to the designer’s verified account per the payout schedule.

Designers retain rights to their work and grant Mellaafrica a licence to display and market their listings. You may not copy or reuse content from the platform without permission.

The platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Mellaafrica isn’t liable for indirect losses. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here.
